Online ePermits submittals
New applications are uploaded online with the property's folio number, and the city confirms acceptance within 2 working days.
All corrections at once
Corrections for every trade go in together with a response letter. Partial corrections are held until everything is in.
eTRAKiT for inspections
Schedule inspections, pay fees, request lien searches and track permit status in the city's eTRAKiT portal.
County Fire and permitting review
Projects that need Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and county review go to the county with a municipal intake application. Commercial reroofs over 160 sq ft need county-approved plans first.
Building safety program
Aventura tracks 40- and 50-year recertifications closely. Associations must share structural engineering reports and file an annual structural maintenance certification with the City.
How we help in Aventura
We package condo work with the association paperwork, send corrections in one complete round, and coordinate the county reviews. The Building Division is open Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 3:30 PM.
