In Boca Raton, how a project looks matters as much as how it's built. We coordinate appearance review and building permits so one doesn't hold up the other.
Boca eHub is the city's portal for permits, plans, inspections, payments and records.
Boca reviews the look of site work, buildings, exterior changes, landscaping, paint colors and signs. The CAB meets twice a month, and items are due a week before each meeting.
Some items, like paint colors from the city's approved palette, can be approved by staff instead of the board. Single- and two-family homes don't need paint permits.
Certificates of Appropriateness are applied for through eHub, with design guidelines for the Old Floresta and Pearl City historic areas.
The Building office at 200 NW 2nd Ave closes early on Wednesdays, so plan in-person visits around it.
We plan around CAB deadlines, prepare your eHub submittal, and keep architectural and building reviews moving together.
