How Doral Permitting Works
Citizen Self-Service portal
Everything is submitted as unlocked, digitally signed PDFs through the city's CSS portal, one application per trade.
Contractor registration by email
Contractors register by emailing their license, business tax receipt and insurance, with the City of Doral Building Department as certificate holder.
Inspections by 3 PM
Inspections are requested online by 3 PM for the next business day. Unpaid reinspection fees block new requests.
Site plan review
New development starts with a mandatory pre-application meeting and a traffic study. Commercial site plans also go to Miami-Dade DERM and Fire Rescue.
Commercial permits and county numbers
Commercial and new construction permits need a Miami-Dade municipal application, which creates a separate county process number, plus Fire final inspections.
