Hollywood is one of Broward's busiest building departments, and it just changed systems. We help contractors, owners and developers get Hollywood permits through review without the back-and-forth: submittal, plan review comments, Broward County approvals and inspections.
As of August 4, 2026, all new City of Hollywood permit applications go through the Accela Citizen Access (ACA) portal. Permits started in the old BCLA system stay in BCLA, with their own submittal and inspection steps. If you have permits in both systems, we keep them straight.
Contractors must register as licensed professionals in ACA before applying. Applications, documents, fees, status and inspections are all handled in the portal.
Residential A/C replacements, water heaters, reroofs and electrical service changes can go through Hollywood's Express Permitting Service.
Projects that also need Broward County permits can go through the county's ePermits OneStop alongside the Hollywood permit, with no trip to the county office.
The Building Division at 2600 Hollywood Blvd is open Monday through Thursday, and plan-review consultations are booked through QLess in early-morning slots. Missing a Thursday can cost you days.
Hollywood has a Historic Preservation Board, and properties near the beach face FEMA flood rules and elevation certificate requirements. We flag these before you submit, not after.
We set up and manage your Accela submittal, answer reviewer comments with your design team, coordinate the Broward County side, and schedule inspections. Call us or request a quote to get started.
